The Building Industry Association of Maryland - National Capital , Inc. (BIA/MNC) is a nonprofit trade association representing member companies employing persons who are engaged in all aspects of building homes and communities throughout the Maryland - National Capital region. The Mission of BIA/MNC is to promote a positive business environment for the building and housing industry and enhance opportunities for its members throughout the Maryland - National Capital Chapter. Recognizing that home ownership is vital to strengthening our nation's families, stabilizing communities and fostering economic prosperity, BIA/MNC works diligently to support its members so that more families in Greater Washington may realize the "American Dream" of home ownership.
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a federation of more than 800 state and local builders associations throughout the United States. The mission of this Washington, D.C.-based trade association is to enhance the climate for housing and the building industry, and to promote policies that will keep housing a national priority.
